I believe this is done now. I messed with it a bit more today and the leg was actually cut off by the elbow, so I added some "sheet" there and that kinda helped. It's the first one I've done in a long time and well, I like it:)

I got MORE of these fabulous Conte pastels and 48 of the Conte pencils to go w/ them. I'll be working on more and posting them here.

I jumped in your blog from Gianlucio's blog. You're quite clever at using pastels. The portrait of the young girl is very, very nice. I also paint for hobby and for passion. I started using oil, but now I only use acrylics which are more practical when one does not have a room where to work like me (I generally paint in my kitchen). I'm basically surrealist but I'm not always surrealist ...
